Prepare the repeated expression first

Test the result and its saved location
Showing a reusable figure across pages is not the same as retaining the final result. The documentation distinguishes sticky display behavior from the end-page calculation needed for saving. Build a test where the visitor changes an earlier input and then completes the path. Compare the last visible estimate with the saved record. If the two are different, investigate state and placement before adding more layers of formula reuse or buying additional features.
Decide whether the upgrade is worthwhile
For one short calculator, a simple local expression may be easier to maintain and cheaper than a higher tier. Reuse becomes valuable when it prevents genuine inconsistency and the team understands the dependency. Compare the cost against actual maintenance work, not the number of times the formula can be displayed. Keep a documented poor-fit rule: if the model needs a live cross-funnel pricing database or complex nested logic, establish that capability separately rather than assuming this feature supplies it.
