Begin with the decision the visitor needs
Write a sentence that ends with a concrete outcome: the visitor can see an approximate range for a defined service, or can learn which service path to ask about. Avoid requirements such as modern design or advanced logic until the actual decision is clear. A single-service estimator and a multi-product recommendation quiz need different structures. Narrowing the promise also reduces the amount of personal information you need to request before giving useful information.
Map the minimum capability set
List each input, its allowed values and the rule that uses it. Add where the result must appear, whether the visitor may revise answers and what must reach the next owner. For a hypothetical maintenance request, frequency may select a rate while area supplies a quantity. An optional specialist task could require manual review rather than another multiplier. This mapping makes it possible to compare a free form and a paid funnel against the same task.

Make the purchasing decision reversible
Before committing to a paid configuration, prepare non-sensitive examples and determine what evidence would make the tool unsuitable.
