Is involve.me safe? Security and privacy statements

On its published statements, yes: involve.me reports a SOC 2 Type II audit, GDPR compliance and hosting on Amazon Web Services servers in Frankfurt, Germany. These are the vendor's own claims, and the full audit report is shared only under NDA with Enterprise customers and prospects.

  • SOC 2. The help center says involve.me is SOC 2 Type 1 and Type 2 audited; the Type II announcement is dated 1 July 2026.
  • Card data. Payments run through Stripe, and involve.me says it neither stores nor has access to card details. It completed the PCI DSS self-assessment for merchants that outsource card handling (SAQ A).
  • Data location. The privacy policy says data is primarily processed and stored in the European Union, with some sub-processors in the United States under standard contractual clauses.
  • Ownership. The pricing FAQ says collected data belongs to the account owner and that involve.me has no permission to contact your leads.

What a quote form should avoid collecting at all is covered in quote form privacy.

involve.me billing, refund and cancellation terms

involve.me bills in advance by card through Stripe, monthly or annually, and renews automatically until you cancel.

involve.me billing terms, from the payment terms and help center
TermWhat the vendor's pages say
RefundsNo refunds once a paid period has started, except after a prolonged technical failure
CancellationAny time on the Plans & Billing page; the plan runs to the end of the paid period
Trial14 days, card required; becomes the paid plan unless canceled first
Price changesAllowed with at least 10 days' notice, effective from the next billing cycle
TaxesListed prices exclude VAT and sales tax
CurrencyUS dollars outside Europe, euros in Europe

The payment terms make the refund after a prolonged technical failure a prorated one and add a second exception, where the law requires a refund. Our involve.me pricing page quotes the pricing FAQ and the payment terms.

Two cancellation details matter. The cancellation only counts once you finish the exit survey. The second is retention: the help center says that when a canceled account returns to Free, submissions older than 30 days are deleted, so run an involve.me export before the paid period ends. The involve.me free plan page lists the Free plan's limits.

What the involve.me terms do not promise

The legal pages set four limits that a buyer should read as written:

  • The service is provided "as is", with no promise of uninterrupted or error-free operation.
  • involve.me may terminate an account at its own discretion, including for breaking the terms or the content policy.
  • The payment terms state that the buyer has no right of withdrawal.
  • Integrations carry no service-level agreement; the help center gives 30 to 60 seconds as the average delivery time.

Who should buy involve.me, and who should choose Jotform or stay on Free

Buy involve.me with normal confidence if you run a service business, want quote or quiz funnels, and accept an annual charge that is not refunded. Start is $29 a month, charged annually, so the outlay is $29 x 12 = $348 for the year before tax.

Stay on the Free plan, which needs no card, or use the 14-day trial first if a refund window matters to you, because involve.me offers no refund window once a paid period starts.

Choose another tool if you collect patient health information. involve.me's security page covers SOC 2, GDPR and PCI DSS and does not mention HIPAA, while Jotform's pricing page lists optional HIPAA compliance features on its Gold and Enterprise plans. We compare the two in involve.me vs Jotform.
