What the involve.me calculator is

The involve.me calculator is an element you drag into a funnel that turns a visitor's answers into a number, such as a price estimate, and can update it live as they answer. It is included on Start, Grow and Scale. Start costs $29 a month, charged annually, as read on 3 October 2026.

The result can appear as plain text, in a card or pinned to the bottom of the page, or stay hidden from the visitor for use in your records only. A saved result travels with the submission, so it can go on to a spreadsheet or CRM through involve.me integrations.

involve.me price calculator and quote calculator: one element

The involve.me price calculator is the same formula builder with the result formatted as currency: the editor offers two elements, Calculator and Price Calculator. An involve.me quote calculator is a funnel built around that element, and the vendor's quote calculator page says quote calculators and payments are included from the Start plan.

The documented quote pattern has three pages: the inputs, then the live price, then a contact form. To open the formula builder:

1. Drag a Calculator or Price Calculator element onto a page.
2. Click "Open Formula Builder".
3. Click a question in the list on the left to add it to the formula, then type the operators.

involve.me calculator formulas: functions and a pressure-washing example

Worked example: a pressure-washing firm prices by surface. A dropdown (Q1) asks for the surface, a slider (Q2) asks for square feet, and a public Google Sheet connected as data table DS1 holds one rate per surface. The formula VLOOKUP(Q1,DS1,2) * Q2 finds the rate and multiplies it. If the sheet lists driveways at $0.40 per square foot, 600 square feet returns 0.40 x 600 = $240. All of it runs on Start.

Is the involve.me calculator free?

No. involve.me's help center and Free plan page mark calculators as not included on Free, although its Outgrow comparison page says the free plan covers calculators, so we follow the help center. VLOOKUP and the advanced functions are marked unavailable on Free as well. Published from a free account, a calculator funnel is a test version: it shows a watermark and accepts 10 submissions. The involve.me free plan page lists the other limits.

Documented limits of the involve.me calculator

• Blank answers. An unanswered question counts as 0 in addition and subtraction but as 1 in multiplication and division. The documented fix is IF(ANSWERED(Q1), Q1, 0).
• Saved only if seen. A result is saved only when the visitor views the page holding the calculator, and an answer given on a later page does not change the saved result unless the visitor returns to that page.
• Data tables. At most 10, each a public Google Sheet that you resync by hand. A table cannot be renamed once added.
• Global formulas. They stay inside the funnel where they were created and cannot be placed inside one another. See involve.me global formulas.
• Placement. involve.me's help center limits calculators to end pages on plans with submission limits; Start, Grow and Scale list none on the pricing page (more in involve.me calculator results).

Who should use it, and when Fillout or Outgrow fits better

Use the involve.me calculator when a quote needs several steps, a lookup against your rate card and an email follow-up from the same subscription. It is a poor fit for a single sum on a contact form, and for anyone who needs the calculator at no cost.

Pick Fillout for one free calculation on a form. Pick Outgrow for a lower entry price if 5 content pieces and one user are enough. Pick involve.me for quote funnels that qualify the lead and follow up by email.
