WordPress quote calculator: a plugin or an embedded builder
You can add a quote calculator to WordPress two ways: with a plugin that builds it inside WordPress, or with a calculator builder that you embed in a page. Use the plugin when the price only has to appear on the page. Use a builder when each quote should arrive as a lead with a follow-up email.

Calculated Fields Form is a WordPress calculator plugin with a free version and commercial versions sold as a one-time purchase. Its listing says calculated fields compute values from other form fields, shows 40,000+ active installations and is tested up to WordPress 7.1.2.
- Go to Plugins, then Add New, and install it, or upload its downloaded zip with Upload Plugin; then click Activate.
- Build the form in its visual builder and insert a calculated field for the total.
- Paste the form's unique shortcode into any page, post or template.
The free version includes the form builder, notification emails to the site owner and basic calculation operations; confirmation emails to the visitor are in the commercial versions.
Embedding an involve.me calculator on a WordPress page
involve.me Start embeds a calculator on one website, and that website can be a WordPress site through involve.me's own plugin or its embed code; price calculator software sets involve.me beside five rivals for a reader who has not picked a builder.
- Publish the calculator as a funnel, involve.me's word for what you build, then open the Share your funnel screen and click Get Embed Code. The code places an iframe, a frame that shows the calculator inside your page; involve.me advises against hand-written iframe tags.
- In the WordPress block editor, add a Custom HTML block from the Block Inserter, click Edit HTML, paste the code and press Update.
WordPress strips script and iframe tags from a Custom HTML block for a user without its unfiltered_html capability, the permission to save such tags, so paste the code as a user who has it. If the funnel's URL changes in involve.me, replace the embed code on the page too.
The plugin route is the second way: install and activate involve.me's plugin, open involve.me funnels, click Add New, paste the Funnel URL, and use the shortcode on any post, page or page builder.
Its WordPress.org listing, last updated 2 years ago, says it has not been tested with the latest three major WordPress releases and may no longer be maintained or supported, so start with the embed code. The checks before the page takes traffic are in involve.me embed checks.
Which WordPress quote calculator fits which business
A business that only needs a price on its quote page, with entries emailed to the owner, fits the plugin. A business that wants each quote to arrive as a lead fits an embedded builder: involve.me says every lead lands in its built-in CRM with its score and quote total and that its email automation sends the quote and the follow-ups, and the Start plan card lists both.
| Question | Calculated Fields Form | involve.me embed |
|---|---|---|
| Where it runs | Inside WordPress | In involve.me, shown in your page |
| Reaches the page by | Shortcode | Embed code or the involve.me plugin |
| Price | Free version; commercial versions are a one-time purchase | Free plan has no calculator; Start is $29 a month, charged annually, as read on 6 October 2026 |
| Limit | Visitor confirmation emails need a commercial version | 1 website on Start, 3 on Scale; watermark stays on Start |
The involve.me Free plan needs no card; the 14-day trial of a paid plan needs billing details and converts unless canceled. The calculator itself is built as in how to create a price calculator for a website.
